a thickness of only 3 millimeters and given its optimum characteristics, is capable of
providing original solutions for all kind of architectural applications such as flooring,
walls or facades.
TECHLAM® is only 3 mm thick, weighs just 7.1 kg/m², and comes in panels of up to 1m x 3m.
Its technical properties of durability, hygiene and ease of placement, together with its
extraordinary versatility of size and colour, offer new solutions in architecture and
interior design.
Acclaimed among architects and decorators, TECHLAM® is a reference for a great number of
applications: coverings and pavements; aseptic spaces such as hospitals or laboratories;
ventilated facades; naval construction, etc. Its ease of application provide significant
cost reductions particularly in refurbishments.
- Versatility. TECHLAM® is a large-size unit (1000 x 3000 mm. panels) that can be adapted
to all size combinations up to 1000mm x 3000mm.
- Hygienic surface, fully compatible with foodstuff products. The surface can be cleaned
extremely easily.
- Alterations in colour. It does not contain organic pigments and is resistant to the UV
radiation of the sun even under the harshest of climatic conditions.
- Resistance to bending, fire and high temperatures, since its breaking point is very high.
- Impermeability. Its water absorption capacity is almost zero.
- Resistance to wear and tear, scratching and abrasion, with a score of 8 on the MOHS scale.
- Resistance to chemical products. It is affected by hydrofluoric acid only.
- Environment-friendly. A 100% natural product obtained from the same raw materials used
in the manufacture of ceramic products. It does not contaminate the environment with
any substance, it can be ground and recycled easily in other production processes.
